I am a researcher (III level) at the IAS-CNR of Oristano, MEC group (Marine and lagoon Ecosystems: biodiversity and Conservation). I have a MS degree in marine biology (University of Padova, 2006), a professional continuing education course (one-year Master; University of Padova, 2004) and a Ph.D. in “Ecology and management of biological resources” (University of Tuscia, 2011). Research fellow since 2012 and researcher since 2019.
My research activities mainly deal with:
- Biology and ecology of marine organisms;
- Threats and biodiversity conservation strategies (focus on protected species and habitats);
- Marine ecosystems: structure, functions and impacts;
- Effectiveness of Marine Protected Areas as tools for conservation and sustainable development;
